Replication package for: Food Price Inflation, the Public Distribution System, and Child Undernutrition in India: Evidence from the First 1,000 Days
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the analysis code, derived state-level datasets, model output summaries, figures, and tables supporting the manuscript "Food Price Inflation, the Public Distribution System, and Child Undernutrition in India: Evidence from the First 1,000 Days" (submitted to Agriculture & Food Security). The study examines whether cumulative food-price inflation during a child's first 1,000 days (conception to age 2) is associated with child growth outcomes in India, and whether this association differs by household wealth and access to the Public Distribution System (PDS). This deposit includes: (1) all analysis scripts (data cleaning, model estimation, robustness checks, inference-method comparisons, figures, and tables); (2) derived, aggregated state-level datasets (Consumer Price Index series, PDS usage share, Census 2011 controls); and (3) all resulting figures, tables, and model output summaries. This deposit does NOT include individual/household-level NFHS-5 or NSS 68th Round survey microdata, which are third-party datasets distributed under restricted data-use agreements by the DHS Program and MoSPI/NSO respectively and cannot be redistributed. Instructions for obtaining these directly are provided in the README.
