资源简介:
The Rye Genome Zipper uses a novel approach that incorporates chromosome sorting, second generation sequencing, array hybridization and systematic
exploitation of conserved synteny with model grasses. It allows to assign 45,958 WGS contigs to individual chromosomes, containing 58% of the estimated 27,784 rye genes. The constructed 'zippers'
integrate gene indices of rice (Oryza sativa L., Os), sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L., Sb) and Brachypodium (Brachypodium distachyon L., Bd) in a conserved synteny model and assemble 16,144 rye genes
in a putative linear order. For a detailed description of the Genome Zipper approach see publication Mayer et al. 2009 (doi: 10.1104/pp.109.142612) and Martis et al. 2013 (doi:
10.1105/tpc.113.114553). The Rye Genome Zipper is linked to the WGS assembly (v2) of the rye genome available at EMBL/ENA under the project number PRJEB13501 with accession numbers
FKKI010000001-FKKI011581707. Corresponding files provide a linear ordered, information-rich scaffold of the seven rye chromosomes. The provided Excel file (‘Summary_Statistics_of_RGZ.xlsx’)
contains the number of markers and genes per chromosome that are linked in the Rye Genome Zipper.
