[Metadata] Description: Hydrographic Units for the islands of Oahu, Maui, Molokai and Hawaii. Source: Hawaii Dept. of Land and Natural Resources. Digitized from the Department of Land & Natural Resources, Division of Water and Land Development (DOWALD) folded paper Station Location maps, found in the 1983 open-file report 81-1056B, "Summary of Available Data on Surface Water," State of Hawaii, Vol. 3. The scale of the source maps varied by island. May 2024: Hawaii Statewide GIS Program staff removed extraneous fields that had been added as part of the 2016 GIS database conversion and were no longer needed.
