Symbiodiniaceae ITS-2 Sequencing Data of Seven Coral Species Affected by Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease in the U.S. Virgin Islands

Raw sequencing data of the ITS-2 region of Symbiodiniaceae rDNA from Colpophyllia natans, Diploria labyrinthiformis, Montastraea cavernosa, Orbicella annularis, Porites astreoides, Pseudodiploria strigosa, and Sidereastrea siderea collected from the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2019. Some samples were collected in situ, but others were collected from a stony coral tissue loss disease transmission experiment.
