During the week of February 25 to March 2, 2020, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, OTAs, and rental cars all experienced a drop in sales compared to the same week in 2019, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Online travel agencies, such as Orbitz and Travelocity, experienced the most significant decline, with 20.5 percent less sales.
