ChIP-seq was performed on panicles (about 1 cm long) and anthers (booting stage) dissected samples of Japonica rice Sasanishiki (low temperature sensitive) and Hitomebore (low temperature tolerant) using anti-H3K27me3, anti-H3K4me3, and anti-H3 antibodies. Rice was grown in experimental fields (Furukawa Agricultural Experiment Station, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan) in 2019, 2020 and 2021 with and without a running cold-water system (19 degree C, 25 cm deep). RNA-seq was also performed on these samples in biological triplicates.
