Serial section series of a symbiotic <i>Bathymodiolus puteoserpentis</i> post-larva. The mussel was sampled at the Semenov-2 vent field (13.513 N; 44.962 W) at 2446.5 m water depth in 2016. The mussel was fixed with 2.5% glutaraldehyde. Sections (1.5 µm section thickness) were stained with toluidine blue.<br>
