RNA-seq of the cultured testis sample of ICR mice treated with busulfan and/or Alginate Oligosaccharides (AOS)

We profiled a RNA-seq on ICR mouse testis. We found that AOS can improve the expression of the genes important for spermatogenesis in the cultured testis. The mice were treated with one dose of busulfan at 3 weeks of age. After two weeks, the testes were collected and cultured in the medium with or without Alginate Oligosaccharides (AOS) at concentration 10 mg/kg bodyweight (BW) or 50 mg/kg BW for 2 days (48h). Then total RNA was isoltated from the cultured testes and the cDNA library was constructed and the samples were subjected to do RNA-seq.
