Metabolic status was successfully evaluated through Nanostring expression profiling of a total of 768 genes in 87 endometrial cancer (EC) cases. The study revealed that 11 genes were deregulated in EC samples. Validation by qRT-PCR confirmed our findings. The results suggest that metabolic profiling can potentially be used as predictive biomarkers of EC.
