Data for: Dams, dam costs and damnable cost overruns

This database contains 124 primary variables for 224 large dams and reservoirs in Australia with a reservoir of capacity ≥ 10 GL. The variables include: i) dam and reservoir related features collated from the ANCOLD database; ii) reservoir yield and dam cost data provided to the authors by numerous public and private organisations; and iii) at-site and catchment calculations undertaken as part of this study of climate, hydrology, location and terrain related variables. Variables are described in the Supplementary Material of the paper "Dams, dam costs and damnable cost overruns".
