VPRS 9956 Personal Papers of Charles Trethowan

This series contains Charles Trethowans personal papers which include copies of consultants reports and related files. These reports concern studies of the structure of the State Electricity Commission Victoria (SECV) from 1954 to 1985. The SECV employed Cresap, McCormick and Paget and Ebasco Services Inc. as consultants to conduct these studies, in order to assist the SECV to improve the efficiency of the organisation in fulfilling its statutory functions. This aim was to be achieved through the restructure of middle and executive management.
