This repository contains the input and output files for ths simulations presented in the article. The output subdirectory contains .vts and .pvd files. You can visualize the results using Paraview by opening the timeseries-cellfields.pvd file. The 2D Arc-Type is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm_2D. The 2D Continent-Type is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_6_swarm_2D The 3D Arc-Type is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm The 2D Continent-Type is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_6_swarm The input subdirectory includes all necessary files to rerun the simulations: .opts lists the simulation options used suppe_sed_volume contains the initial geometry for 3D simulation suppe3D_volume defines the boundary condition facets for 3D simulation suppe_sed_volume_2D_geology contains the initial geometry and the boundary condition facets for 2D simulation densmaps contains the density table Simulations were run using a version of pTatin3D, available at https://github.com/laetitialp/ptatin-gene/ Additional high-resolution tests were carried out using the following files: suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_6_swarm_2D_high_reso_emaxdiv2.opts suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_6_swarm_2D_high_reso_emaxmu2.opts suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm_2D_high_reso_emaxdiv2.opts suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm_2D_high_reso_emaxmu2.opts
