Processed Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry Data acquired during R/V Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN061 (1996)

This data set was acquired with an Atlas Elecktronik Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar during R/V Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN061 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. LeRoy Dorman, Investigator: Dr. LeRoy Dorman). These data files are of MBSystem-compatible format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data that were processed after acquisition. This data was processed by GMRT and was included in the Global Multi-Resolution Topography (GMRT) Synthesis (version 1). Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Seismological Components of the MELT Experiment on the Southern East Pacific Rise: West Coast OBS Facility Support and Analysis.
