This dataset, named *Classified Chandra Sources in Globular Clusters*, was created by the Department of Physics at George Washington University. It focuses on classified X-ray sources in globular clusters observed by the Chandra X-ray Observatory. The dataset contains 268 classified sources, covering categories such as active binaries, cataclysmic variables, millisecond pulsars, and low-mass X-ray binaries. During the creation process, the research team performed cross-matching between multi-wavelength observation data, the Chandra Source Catalog (CSC), and the HST Ultraviolet Globular Cluster Survey (HUGS) to extract the multi-wavelength properties of these sources. This dataset is primarily used for machine learning-based classification of unidentified X-ray sources, and helps advance the understanding of stellar and binary evolution as well as globular cluster dynamics.
