Asteroidal non-shower meteor orbit subsets (CAMS, GMN, EDMOND, SonotaCo) used in Shober (2026, ApJ)

This Zenodo record contains four “shower-removed, asteroidal” video-meteor orbit subsets used in: Shober, P. M. (2026), “Asteroidal activity amongst meteor datasets: Confirmed new ‘rock-comet’ stream and search for a tidal disruption signature”, accepted in The Astrophysical Journal. Files (one per network):- CAMS_shober_2026_subset.csv (CAMS Meteoroid Orbit Database v3.0)- GMN_shober_2026_subset.csv (Global Meteor Network)- EDMOND_shober_2026_subset.csv (European viDeo MeteOr Network Database)- SonotaCo_shober_2026_subset.csv (SonotaCo Network / SNMv3) Scope and filtering (common to all four files)These are non-shower (“sporadic”) subsets intended for asteroidal-background analyses. Established and Working-List meteor showers were removed using the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Meteor Data Center (MDC) shower lists (Established + Working List) as they existed in January 2026. Important note on the southern Virginid-region stream (“87-Virgininids”)The data includes a diffuse stream in the southern Virginid region that was previously submitted to the IAU MDC as the candidate shower “87-Virgininids” (IAU #1185; code ESV). This shower is currently (February 2026) listed as “removed” in the IAU MDC, but is confirmed (as a real, survey-consistent excess) in Shober (2026) and is discussed in detail in that paper.
