Individual P. falciparum gene expression profilesData obtained by cDNA microarray for hourly timepoints throughout the 48h intraerythrocytic development cycle (IDC) were normalized and modeled to determine the contribution of nascent transcription (red) and stabilization (blue) to the total abundance profile (black) for each gene. Calculated expression values were plotted at hourly intervals throughout the IDC.
