Jeppesen-Wigelsworth: Latin Inscriptions Recording Marital and Quasi-Marital Relationships (Dataset)

Dataset includes inscriptions from CIL, found using the Claus-Slaby Epigraphik Datenbank (http://www.manfredclauss.de/). Search terms included: <em>Coniunx, Concubina, Marita, Contubernalis, Amica, and Uxor.</em> Entered into a relational database, inscriptions were analyzed for statistically significant connections between variables such as term of relation, status, burial type, and epithets (descriptors/characteristics). Published dataset includes Inscription Number, Text of the Inscription, and Term of Relationship applied to the commemorated woman. Dataset is limited to the City of Rome, primarily (with the exception of <em>Concubina). </em>
