Our main objectives are to (i) investigate whether the composition of phyllosphere fungal assemblages changes with elevation, (ii) test whether temperature is the climatic factor responsible for this elevational pattern and (iii) predict potential responses of some known beech pathogens to climate warming based on their current distribution along the elevational gradient.
