Mean Opacity Tables for Probing the Interior and Atmosphere of Giant Planets

Mean opacity tables for probing the interior and atmosphere of giant planets. The tables apply to 12 elemental compo-sitions relevant to giant planets ($\rm [M/H] \in [-0.3, +2.21]$; $Z \in [0.0044, 0.6960]$) , and span pressures from $10^{-6} − 10^5$ bar and temperatures from $100 − 6000$ K. There are cloud-free and cloudy tables. We also provide the cross-sections of the sodium and potassium resonance lines when perturbed by H$_2$ at high densities.
