臨濟護國禪寺 山門

It belongs to the [Myōshin-ji](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My%C5%8Dshin-ji) branch of the [Rinzai school](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rinzai_school). The construction started from 1900 and ended at 1912. The [hondō](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Hall_(Japanese_Buddhism)) (main hall) and the [sanmon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanmon) are preserved nowadays, and are protected as cultural property of Taipei.
