资源简介:
The genome of Bacteroides uniformis CECT 7771 was sequenced using single molecule nanopore technology with the aim to recover a large amount of genetic information from this human symbiont allowing almost a complete genome assembly. The genome information was annotated by using different algorithms making possible the comparison of its genetic structure with other close strains. We further wanted to study the genome response of Bacteroides uniformis CECT 7771 to different carbon sources, for that reason we designed a RNAseq approach to study gene expression at genome level in response to glucose, inulin, wheat bran extract, pectin, arabic gum, and mucin. We compare the expression patterns in every condition to analyze the potential health benefits according to the metabolic pathways deferentially expressed in each case.
