Two bulk samples taken from the arroyo profile adjacent to John Cotter Hole 13, located
on the western side of the Lindenmeier site were examined for pollen and phytoliths. These
samples were taken from the Folsom occupation stratum, and date to ~10,660 RCYBP. The
goal of this analysis is to determine the presence and quantity of pollen and phytoliths for future
sampling at the site.
