Number of selected entities (companies) of the national economy in 2008 - 2017

Currently, most enterprises in Poland are run as sole proprietorships. In addition, natural persons running a business may run an enterprise as part of civil partnerships, which are a relatively simple form of business operation by more than one person (at least two partners). In addition, there is a growing interest in establishing commercial law companies, especially in the field of limited liability companies (running a business within this type of companies allows to minimize the financial risk and material liability of partners, and under certain conditions to avoid the need to incur additional levies, for example in the field of mandatory social insurance, the so-called ZUS contributions). The following data contains the number of selected entities (companies) of the national economy in 2008 - 2017.
