RNAseq analysis of wildtype and Nrf2-/- advanced lung tumors

Nrf2 plays a critical role in lung cancer. We investigated the gene expression profile in Nrf2 wildtype and knockout tumors. Nrf2 wildtype and knockout mice were injected with 2 or 4 doses of vinyl carbamate (16 mg/kg). Lung tumors were then dissected and pooled from each group to isolate total RNA. RNAseq was then performed to analyze the differential expression profiles between groups. Overall design: mRNA profiles of two Nrf2 wild type (WT) and two knockout (KO) mice were generated by deep sequencing, using Illumina 2000.
