Data to run the examples that come with PAMTRA (Passive and Active Microwave TRAnsfer model)

The package contains the datasets needed to run the examples that come with the Passive and Active Microwave TRAnsfer model (PAMTRA; Mech et al., 2020) code package, which can be downloaded from GitHub (https://github.com/igmk/pamtra). Within the dataset you'll find: ECMWF IFS output for one specific time step on a 0.1° grid (664MB): P20160926_19 Additionally IFS files for landseamask and vertical grid: nawdex_cst and landseamask IFS integrated hydrometeor contents (hydros.pkl) AMSU-A satellite observations (NSS.AMAX.NN.D16270.S1743.E1938.B5850708.GC, NSS.AMAX.NN.D16270.S1743.E1938.B5850708.GC) ICON output: METEOGRAM_20151119_joyce_5min.nc ICON with microphysical parameterization performing well: acloud_icon_input.nc ICON with worse parameterization: first_acloud_icon_input.nc MiRAC measurements: mirac.pkl In-situ airborne dataset from the ACME-V campaign acmev_dataset_for_pamtra.nc example atmosphere over ocean example_ocean.lay HALO-AC3 full bin microphysics dataset haloac3_dataset_for_pamtra.nc To successfully use them, the package needs to be unpacked in a folder named data in the example folder.
