Distribution of yearly expenses for watching sports competitions in Japan 2023

According to a survey conducted in November 2023 in Japan, 70.5 percent of respondents stated that they did not spend any money on watching sports events in a year. The share of people who spent more than 30,000 Japanese yen during the year on spectating at sports events amounted to 7.2 percent.
