As of February 2019, it was found that 44 percent of U.S. Amazon shoppers had purchased electronics via the company’s website. Prime audiences are very engaged shoppers – according to a February 2019 survey, 20 percent of responding Prime members stated that they purchased items from Amazon a few times a week, compared to only three percent of non-members who stated the same. In 2018, there were an estimated 58.7 million households in the United States with an Amazon Prime subscription.
