Novosphingobium aeonifolium sp. nov, isolated from the leaves of the suculent Aeonium decorum

Two isolates representing a novel Novosphingobium species were isolated from the leaves of Aeonium decorum, a succulent plant native to the Canary Islands, Spain. The genomes of both isolates were assembled using a hybrid sequencing approach that combined short- and long-read data, resulting in four complete, circularized replicons for each genome.
