资源简介:
Asian swamp eels (Monopterus albus/javanensis) have been invading the Everglades ecosystem of southern Florida for the past three decades. This is a 26-year dataset of fish and decapod densities and biomass in Taylor Slough and Shark River Slough in Everglades National Park and in Water Conservation Area 3A. This dataset was used to assess biomass and community changes since swamp eels invaded the region, with a primary focus on the region to be first invaded, Taylor Slough.
Data accompany this publication: Pintar, MR, and NJ Dorn. Invasive swamp eels reduce aquatic animal diversity and disproportionately reduce prey for nesting wading birds. Scientific Reports.
