Neutrophils were collected from the peritoneal cavity of control mice (S100a8-Cre or Inhba{floxed/floxed}) and animals carrying Activin-A-deficient neutrophils (S100a8-Cre/Inhba{floxed/floxed}), six hours post-injection with thioglycollate. Peritoneal neutrophils (CD45+ CD11b+ Ly6G+) were purified by cell-sorting, and their transcriptome was analyzed by RNA-Sequencing.
