The Precision Optical Calibration Module SN 49-2018-SP2.02 was deployed on 2018-06-25 at ODP 1027C. ODP 1027C is a borehole site used to pinpoint an area within Cascadia Basin. This device is a Precision Optical Calibration Module. Precision Optical Calibration Modules are used for the Strings for Absorption Length in Water (STRAW) project. POCAMs provide in-situ calibrated, isotropic, nanosecond light flashes in the range of 380 to 600 nm. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
