资源简介:
The current study aims to investigate the role of adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein (A-FABP) in bone remodeling and osteoporosis under both physiological and postmenopausal conditions. To establish an osteoporosis model, A-FABP knockout mice and their wild-type littermates underwent ovariectomy surgery. Primary bone marrow macrophages and stromal stem cells were isolated to study osteoclastogenesis and osteogenesis, respectively. Additionally, A-FABP knockdown and inhibitor treatments were applied to RAW264.7 macrophages and MC3T3-E1 cells to further explore the function of A-FABP in bone metabolism. Our findings reveal that A-FABP plays a dual role in bone metabolism.
