This study aims to determine proteins responsible for resistance and virulence in Candida glabrata Lebanese hospital isolates. Four isolates (4, 8, 28, and 29) with varying degrees of resistance and virulence to fluconazole were subjected to proteomic analysis. Cell wall proteins of each isolate were extracted and analyzed using MALDI TOF TOF mass spectrometry to identify proteins responsible for virulence and resistance under exposure to fluconazole. Maldi-generated reports were searched in MASCOT and ProteinPilot search engines to identify protein hits. Unmatched sequences were then BLAST searched in candidagenome.org. The files attached here include the MALDI reports, MASCOT reports, ProteinPilot reports, and the list of proteins included in our customized C. glabrata database that was extracted from Uniprot.
