Mouse_Breast_Cancer_sequencing

In this project we have seven mouse breast cancer clones derived from the same primary that were transplanted into different mice. Each of these different mice were treated with the same chemotherapy protocol (a Parp inhibitor) until they became drug resistant. To understand the nature of this drug resistance we would like to exome sequence the primary and the seven drug resistant clones. Importantly the cancer that we are studying in this experiment was generated on an Mdr1 knockout background so the mechanism of drug resistance that is operative is not the upregulation of multidrug transporters. We also used an allele of Brca1 that cannot be reconstituted by the generation of an in-frame deletion.
