Variance-constrained bias-corrected 3-hourly CMIP6 global dataset of the historical and SSP5-8.5 climate (1980–2099)

We applied variance and bias correction (VCBC) to 13 CMIP6 models of the historical (1980-2014) and ssp585 (2015-2099) experiments using ERA5 of 1980-2009 as the reference. This dataset is designed to support research on global climate impacts, regional climate downscaling and extreme event assessment across historical and future periods (1980-2099). A subset of the VCBC fully processed dataset containing variable "tas" of 13 models is already provided in this repository. The complete dataset, approximately 2 TB in compressed size, are being uploaded and will be made freely accessible in this repository.
