SWOT_MFGG: A Global Marine Full-Tensor Gravity Gradient Dataset from SWOT-Informed DOV Fields

SWOT_MFGG is a global marine full-tensor gravity-gradient dataset reconstructed from released SIO SWOT-informed two-dimensional deflection of vertical (DOV) fields. The dataset provides six gravity gradient tensor components, including Txx, Txy, Txz, Tyy, Tyz, and Tzz, over oceanic regions between 80°S and 80°N at 1 arcmin resolution. The dataset was generated using an EGM2008-based remove–compute–restore procedure and a latitude-adaptive regional spectral processing strategy. The tensor components are provided in Eotvos (E). The dataset is intended for marine geodesy, seafloor tectonic interpretation, bathymetric analysis, and gravity-aided navigation studies.
