B-PREC Bedretto Permanent Reference Earthquake Catalogue release

The BULGG permanent reference catalogue provides access to manually revised seismicity data collected in and around the Bedretto Laboratory. The contributing network includes all seismic stations installed under the 8R network code (doi 10.12686/SED/NETWORKS/8R). All stations located on the surface and most inside the tunnel are used for automatic triggering. Manual revisions often include any seismic stations located in boreholes. The catalogue starts in February 2021 and is continuously updated as new events occur. Often, older events may be revised if new data or methods become available, e.g. updated velocity models. The time window includes all stimulation experiments at the Bedretto Underground Laboratory for Geosciences and Geoenergies (BULGG). Event locations are absolute locations based on manual picks from all the relevant available permanent and experimental instrumentation.
