GeoMX digital spatial profiling is used to explore gene expression patterns in inflammatory and other pathways in chronic intervillositis of unknown etiology (CIUE). Overall design: Gene expression patterns in placenta and intervillus macrophages in CIUE placenta (4 cases) are compared to normal placenta (4 cases) and granulomatous lymhpadenitis macrophages (4 cases) controls respectively using GeoMX DSP and nCounter sequencing.
