Effects of Diclofenac and Meloxicam on Microbiota of Early Life Stages of Oryzias melastigma

This study aims to evaluate the effects of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) - diclofenac (DCF) and meloxicam (MEX) - on the microbiota of early life stages of the marine fish species Oryzias melastigma at environmentally relevant concentrations. By conducting 16S rRNA gene sequencing and analysis, we aim to examine how exposure to these pharmaceuticals affects the overall microbiota of the entire organism, with a primary focus on the gut microbiota.
