### Overview
This dataset contains output from climate model sensitivity experiments investigating the short-term (1–3 month) effects of anomalous ocean heat content (OHC) in the Bering Sea on Arctic sea ice concentration and regional climate. Using the Community Earth System Model version 2 (CESM2) Large Ensemble (LENS2), heat anomalies based on observed model SST trends were imposed in the top 100 meters of the Bering Sea at various times from spring to summer. These experiments examine how increased Bering Strait ocean heat transport (OHT) affects sea ice melt, ocean stratification, atmospheric circulation, and sea ice advection, with a particular focus on the East Siberian, Chukchi, Beaufort, and Central Arctic regions. Additional ensemble members with perturbed atmospheric initial conditions were included to capture internal atmospheric variability. The archived dataset includes oceanic, atmospheric, and sea ice variables for multiple July initialized ensemble members, supporting studies of seasonal sea ice prediction, regional Arctic climate variability, and coupled ocean-atmosphere interactions. The archived data have daily and monthly variable files.
