ASSESSMENT OF THE READINESS OF MEDICAL STUDENTS TO PROVIDE FIRST AID IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

This study aims to assess the level of knowledge and practical preparation of students of higher medical institutions in providing first aid in emergency situations (fire, gas leak, fainting, etc.). During the study, an online survey was conducted via the Google Form platform. The results showed that students' knowledge in some areas, in particular, safety measures during gas leaks and fires, is insufficient. Recommendations are put forward for organizing special training sessions and practical training to eliminate the shortcomings identified in the article.
