Effect of chemical chaperone lumacaftor (VX-809) on gene expression in HEK-293 cells expressing hERG/A561V

To investigate the molecular effect of lumacaftor in the regulation of mutatant hERG protein expression, we established HEK-293 cell lines expressing hERG/A561V, 15μM lumacaftor treatment as experimental group (HAL) and DMSO treatment (HA) as control group. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 different groups. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for HEK-293 cells with and without lumacaftor (HA, HAL).
