Deep denitrification and phosphorus removal of sewage is one of the important ways to control eutrophication of water bodies, and the research and development of new technologies and materials for denitrification and phosphorus removal have therefore received widespread attention. This study used sulfur and fly ash as the main raw materials to prepare a new type of sulfur based fly ash unburned ceramic particle. The characterization and adsorption characteristics of the unburned ceramic particle under different mixing ratios of the two substrates were explored, and a sulfur based fly ash ceramic particle composite substrate autotrophic denitrification reactor was built with this as the filler to investigate its effect on simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal in simulated wastewater treatment.
