C57BL/6J mice purchased from Jackson Laboratory were treated with an antibiotic cocktail in the drinking water for 2 weeks. Fecal samples were taken at the beginning of the experiment (Day 0), at 1 week (Day 7), and 2 weeks (Day 14). The antibiotics in the cocktail were ampicillin, gentamicin, neomycin, metronidazole, and vancomycin.
