Data from DREAL Bretagne 2019 project, metabarcoding for the Diatoms Biological Index, France

These data were generated as part of the DREAL Bretagne 2019 project for the assessment of the Diatom Biological Index (DBI) required by the Water Framework Directive (WFD). Samples were collected by french Water Agency and OFB laboratory of Loire-Bretagne. DNA was extracted using the NucleoSpin® Soil kit (Macherey-Nagel). Extracted DNA was amplified by PCR using RbcL primers (3FW + 2RV). FastQ files were obtain after DNA sequencing based on the Illumina MiSeq technology with the v2 reagent kit at the Genotoul platform (Toulouse, France). This directory contains the following files : Bretagne_2019.tar.gz : all samples FastQ files 2019 (336 x 2 replicates) Metadata_Bretagne_2019.csv : contains all the data available for each samples corresponding to the names of FastQ files
