Items bought second-hand by the French in clothing, textile and shoes category 2018

Buying new is not necessarily the only solution when it comes to clothing, home textiles and footwear items. One can also consider barter, rental, or second-hand purchase. Regarding the latter option, a survey conducted in 2018 revealed that an important portion (62 percent) of people who purchased second-hand items in this category in France bought women's clothing. About one quarter of the respondents purchased home textile.
