资源简介:
This document contains the data and references used to obtain the figures published in the Joule Perspective: "Towards photovalorisation of waste at scale?"
Firstly, it estimates the amount of reactants and catalyst that would be needed, if the current ammonia demand was to be met by photochemical nitrates reduction coupled to glycerol oxidation (based on the performance reported by Tayyebi et al. DOI 10.1038/s41929-024-01133-4). The hypotetical demand of nitrates and glycerol is also compared to the current availability for waste streams, and that of platinum and ruthenium is compared to the current annual production.
Finally, literature reports of production rates and faradaic efficiency for nitrates reduction are compared
