NTD Surveillance Gap Index: FAERS-VigiAccess Cross-Database Pharmacovigilance Analysis Pipeline and Data

This repository contains the complete analysis pipeline, all data files, and figures for the manuscript: "The NTD Surveillance Blind Spot: A Systematic Cross-Database Pharmacovigilance Analysis of WHO-Listed NTD Drugs in FAERS and WHO VigiAccess" We extracted five years of FAERS quarterly data (2021-2025) for 20 WHO-listed NTD drugs and seven control drugs. Disproportionality analysis (PRR, ROR, Bayesian uncertainty) was followed by manual VigiAccess extraction and computation of the novel Surveillance Gap Index (SGI). Multiple supplementary analyses (phantom signals, temporal stability, demographics, seriousness, completeness) were performed. The full pipeline runs in Google Colab (Python 3.12) and is fully reproducible at zero cost using only public data. Files include cleaned FAERS signal tables, cross-database SGI results, statistical tests, demographic data, and all manuscript figures and tables in high resolution.
