Army Barracks of Ireland, 1690–1921: Barracks Dataset and Supplementary Files (version 1.0) is a structured data deposit developed by the ‘Our Shared Built Military Heritage’ (OSBMH) project, funded by the North South Research Programme and co-led by University College Dublin and The Open University. The cornerstone of the deposit is the Barracks Dataset, which records 369 permanent army barracks across all 32 counties. Supplementary files include transcribed source lists, references used in compiling site summaries, and a reference layer of Martello towers. Refer to README file for full details.
