The aim of this study was to identify DNA methylation patterns in femur trabecular bone and cartilage of age-matched female baboons, five with and five without knee osteoarthritis. The Illumina Infinium Human Methylation450 BeadChip was used to assess these genome-wide methylation patterns. Bisulphite converted DNA from the 10 baboons (n=10 bone samples, n=10 cartilage samples) were hybridized to the Illumina Infinium Human Methylation450 BeadChip. Please note that the sample data table contain the 'matrix_norm_alignmentfilter_beta' data. However, the study's conclusions are based on both norm_*_beta.csv data (linked as Series supplementary files). It compares and contrasts both filtering criteria.
